The Greyhound workers have been locked-out of their workplace by the management for 10 weeks for rightly refusing to accept outrageous and unjustifiable changes to their employment contracts including a 35% pay cut, which the management unilaterally imposed on them.

Labour Youth’s fundraiser will take place on the second floor of the Parnell Bar, 74 Parnell St, Dublin 1 on Tuesday 26th August at 7PM. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

All funds raised at the table quiz will be donated to the Greyhound workers strike fund which is being overseen by SIPTU. Teams for the fundraiser will consist of 4 people. Entry is €10 for waged people and €5 for unwaged people (or whatever you can afford). Raffle tickets will also be on sale with a range of prizes available on the evening.

Please feel free to bring along your friends and family. The Greyhound workers and our colleagues in the trade union movement are also invited to attend the fundraiser.
It would be great to see you at the fundraiser to show your solidarity and support for the Greyhound workers. Your attendance will be a real and practical gesture of support to the workers.
